This is a book cover that I designed and produced for a science book called Molecules and Life. I wanted to use familiar imagery to create an approachable book that many audiences would find visually appealing.

CLICKart v1 Promotional Poster

This is a promotional poster for a flash application I developed. The concept stems from the fusing of popart and the advanced digital medium. The computer randomly generates compositions, using pre-designed shapes and images, that can then be randomly changed and manipulated with the click of a button.

12 Angry Men Promotional Poster

A promotional poster for a black-box theater production of 12 Angry Men. I used cropping, composition and color to create a dramatic, tense and moody tone.

UnBeige Web Banner

A web banner that I designed for an online design forum, www.mediabistro.com/unbeige. I interpreted the meaning of forum and used provocative images and colors to display the idea of open discourse.

Cell Phone Symphony Promo Poster

A poster I designed for a concert in which cell phones were used as instruments. A mathematical system was used in order to create the graphics, the length and color of each line represents a phone number from a previously surveyed group of people.

The Pacifist Calendar

Two ten by ten cubes that I designed and constructed out of balsa wood and a heat-treated vellum. The concept behind the calendar expressed an anti-war quote from an accomplished humanitarian for every month coinciding with his or her birth.

Kraft Magazine: Feature Article

A few spreads from a 40 page magazine article and cover that I developed for an article about independent jewelry artists which featured their work. I used common elements to "frame and tie" the drastically different featured work together.

CFAR Poster

A large format poster I designed for the MICA Center for Applied Research. I focused on the “hand done” aspect of design using only analog elements to create this composition.

Veganism: An Active Guide

A self published book that I designed, printed and distributed explaining the benefits of an animal bi-product free diet. I used form an negative space to create simple yet diverse images.
